Healing and Transmog in World of Warcraft

Screenshots of the Week

It’s been a while since I’ve updated — sorry about that. I should probably aim for about 1 post per month.

A few weeks ago my wonderful fiance bought me a monitor from a friend — it’s a perfect widescreen LCD.

I’ve always wanted a widescreen LCD and he knew that so when he had the chance he grabbed it for me.

It has resulted in some very nice screenshots.

I really love my holy (and ret for soloing) paladin.

Obviously. I mean she’s in almost every screenshot…

Stay Classy friends.

Classy Move of the Week – August 15

Hello all!

The other day I joined a random Lich King dungeon and ended up in Utgarde Keep. Today’s post is a shoutout to those 3 other brave souls who beat up mobs with me almost all the way to the end after our tank abandoned us for no good reason.

Our warlock happily stepped in which leads me to say a quick prayer that they get a true tanking spec someday.

Big kudos to these people:

Ambassador Pappalegba – WyrmrestAccord <Sapphire Shaolin Society>
Mystonnaire the Patient – Nesingwary <The Crimson Shadows>
Zarielil – Farstriders <Natural Order>

We proceeded to slam dunk the rest of the instance on our own, until a friendly tauren joined us for the last 4 pulls. Thanks dude!

I also have some screenshots to share with y’all. Some are from the past, some are from recently.

Friday Screenshot Compilation

I’ve leveled Miss Lumina to 71 now, and she’s been race changed to Alliance because I missed my BF and alliance friends too much.

Here are some pictures from her journey.

She grew up to be kind of a badass.

Check out Legionkiller.  C’mon Blizzard, fix crossbow scaling…

I still intend to level another blood elf in the future though. Maybe paladin.

Meet Lumina.

She’s my adorable little hunter.

Pretty sure eventually, when she’s 90, she’ll be my new main for the remainder of WoW.

I did actually give her mail gear after this picture, instead of the leather.

I also snapped a pretty picture of Eversong.

And some of my sassy rogue.

Bear power, yo.

Enjoy the eye candy.

Beautiful Shado-Pan Monastery

I am fishing while listening to Zen Music on Spotify.

I am quite relaxed.

I might even fall asleep right here on the bed.

But…not before I share some of the in-game beauty with you.

Lake Kittitata

As soon as I saw the name of this lake in Jade Forest, I giggled.  Lake Kittitata is a play on Lake Titticaca.

From the Wikipedia page:

Lake Titicaca is a lake in the Andes on the border of Peru and Bolivia. By volume of water, it is the largest lake in South America.[2][3]Lake Maracaibo has a larger surface area, but is often regarded as a large brackish bay due to its direct connection with the sea.

It is often called the highest navigable lake in the world, with a surface elevation of 3,812 m (12,507 ft).[4][5] Although this refers to navigation by large boats, it’s generally considered to mean commercial craft. At least two dozen bodies of water around the world are at higher elevations, but all are much smaller and shallower.[6]

There is also a small stone circle in the middle of the lake with a tree that drops water (it is actually a very pleasant place to fish). You can find the Pandaren Ritual Stone here for a nice free 105 gold (if it has spawned).  I walked in and out of the circle which caused it to appear.

Please click, read, and wow someone with your new knowledge of Lake Titticaca!

Lake Kittitaca

On a quick personal note — I am still playing WoW. I love WoW. You can find me as Trailfox#1530 or Natalie on Borean Tundra.  I got a small raise at work (woo hoo)!  Still going great with the boyfriend and I love hims a lot!  We do a ton of stuff together so we don’t play Wow all that much. I usually have to play while he is away at drill on weekends (National Guard).  Other than that, working, working out (jogging) and living life.  Catch me on twitter @classyheals.

When Classy Finds a 26″ Flatscreen…

Pictures get real.

Enjoy the eye candy. Feel free to use whatever you’d like on your backgrounds, etc.

Many thanks to boyfriend’s roomate Josh who is letting me play on his computer tonight. In return, I have re-hooked him onto Warcraft.
You’re welcome!

Transmogging and Updating!

Well gosh darn, I checked twitter the other day and realized that the lovely Dawn Moore had focused in on the [Journeyman’s Vest] — a piece of clothing that I had used for a fiery-themed Natalie transmog!  I was quite honored to see my photo in the article and I hope many people pick up this unique chestpiece if they so like it.

Malkil (Ysera-US) also used the same chestpiece to create a bandit-themed transmog that I am in love with! I love the wide belt, the dirty offhand and dagger, the risque leggings, red hat and overall “shady” look.  It goes well with the worgen appearance and frame. Runella (Eitrigg – US) also made a very nice transmog (and I agree, it does have a “sexy Robin Hood” look going on!

In real life news, I have a new squeeze…thanks to @LodurZJ!  He suggested an online dating website, since I’m a working professional that doesn’t really have time to go out to events and meet someone. A lot of my friends are already married, so a “friend of a friend” wasn’t really an option either. As a last resort, also, the men at my work are almost ALL spoken for. Online dating has been a total blessing.  It took one day to find a great guy, one day of socializing to set up a date, and then that date was so awesome we had two more.  After a week, we talk and laugh like we’re old friends.  He’s a great guy and shares my views on religion and politics.  It has made life much smoother also in that we agree in the ways we’d like our kids to be raised.  PLUS he actually wants kids!  So anyway, I have a very handsome new squeeze!

This morning, I also acquired my 20th whisker for my Winterspring Frostsaber!  I’ve been working on that 20th whisker for a few days — all those dates sort of took all my time and energy, hehe. The week prior, I purchased a [Kalytha’s Haunted Locket] which turns me into a very pretty, ghostly night elf!

And that concludes my updates for now; I have a write of my Navispam from Navimie’s visit coming next!
Stay classy Azeroth!

Five Favorite Screenshots – August

As most of my informative-yet-fun posts are in progress at the moment, I have decided to rummage through my screenshot folder and show y’all five of my favorite screenshots from the last few years. I never saved my vanilla screenshots prior to my older computer kicking the bucket, but alas, they are all in my memory! So in lieu of one of my usual posts I have decided to start a new, lightly-named, “Five Favorite” series. This is also expandable into a “Ten Favorite” or “Top Ten” moniker for the future. Light and flexible and allows me to share other fun things with you all while maintaining that sweet, sweet organization that I crave.

This was in Feathermoon Stronghold, I believe, during Hallow’s End. The holiday decorations around the entirety of Azeroth helps boost the atmosphere.

Flightpaths sometimes give the best photo opportunities. This is the entrance to Bastion of Twilight, with part of Loch Modan in the foreground.

The drained, empty Loch. Such a sad sight but…so THAT’s what it looks like on the bottom…

You are getting sleepy…very sleepy… I enjoy this SS because the details of all the instances are so intricate, yet they are only appreciated for a short while.

I love the simplicity of this one. Classic Vanilla outfit, devoted priest, staring into space in the Cathedral of Light.

I’m thinking next time it needs to be a Ten Favorite Screenshots post, because I have quite a few more I want to show you. Hope you enjoyed these. Leave me a link to some of your screenshot posts, so I can see what catches your eye.

Stay classy Azeroth!
